Sources:By REI, from figures based on ANRE/METI Renewable Power Plant Certification Status
Note 1:The photovoltaic capacity (10kW and over), that was registered but cancelled afterwards, is not included on the data of registered renewable energy capacity under FiT.
Note 2:Until the end of March 2014, cumulative capacity of operational facilities included all the facilities having started operation from July 2012. This includes plants not registered under FiT. From April 2014, cumulative operational capacity represents only the capacity of the facilities registered under FiT.
Note 3:From FY 2014 onward the calculation methodology for bioenergy has been modified to improve accuracy. In the revised methodology the estimated values are the result of the installed capacity multiplied by a biomass ratio set for each facility at the time of certification. These ratio do not include the non-renewable portion of waste material resources.
Note 4:In FY2014, negative registered and operational bioenergy capacity are the result of the change of calculation methodology (Note 2).
Note 5:Some of the monthly figures and the total figure of registered and operational bioenergy capacity have been revised from April 2014 to January 2015, due to miscalculation when applying the theoretical ratio for biomass.
