Appointment of the Executive Board Members

The Council Members' Meeting of Japan Renewable Energy Foundation has made the following decision to appoint seven (7) Executive Board Members including one (1) newly appointed board member.

Dr. Lovins is the world's leading expert on energy issues.
For over 40 years, Amory B. Lovins has been active as an adviser for governmental agencies in various countries, including the US Department of Energy and major companies worldwide, principally providing advice on advanced energy, resource efficiency, strategies, security, and integrative design. Mr. Lovins has delivered 30 books and 450 papers. Awards that he won include the Blue Planet Prize, Zayed Future Energy Prize, Nissan Prize, Right Livelihood Award (often called the "alternative Nobel Prize"), and many others. In 2009, Time named him among the world's 100 most influential people, and Foreign Policy, one of the 100 top global thinkers.
