Renewable Energy Institute is honoured to announce that Bo Normark, Chairman of Project ‘Electricity Crossroads,’ Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, has joined the Institute as Senior Policy Advisor.

Mr. Normark has 38 years of industrial experience at ABB where he served in many managerial roles with global responsibility. Focus was on power transmission equipment including advanced smart transmission grid technologies such as High Voltage DC (HVDC), Flexible AC Transmission (FACTS) and High Voltage Cables. He was serving in multiple countries such as Sweden, Switzerland, US and China.

With the participation of Mr. Normark, the Institute will enhance its efforts to realize a global power transmission network that will maximize renewable energy deployment.
