In order to accelerate Japan's climate policies and actions, it is essential to understand key global trends and make reference to leading initiatives that are underway to achieve the decarbonization goal. Efforts to collaborate on decarbonization solutions with countries in the Asian region, which has close political and economic ties with Japan, is also needed at various levels.
The Institute’s research and activities highlights these new global trends and aims at providing a clear picture of the changing global landscape in a timely manner.
